Welcome. My name is John Mahon and I have been a faculty member and golf coach here at Damien High School since 1991. Currently, I teach World History and AP World History.  

 

 

I went to elementary school at St. Rita's in Sierra Madre and then continued my Catholic education here at Damien.  I graduated from Stanford University in 1989, after which I spent two years living and working in Taiwan. In 1991 I returned to the states and was offered a position on staff here at Damien. After a few years of teaching, I returned to school and obtained a Masters in Education from the University of La Verne. I have always loved teaching and coaching, and it has been both my pleasure and honor to spend these years serving the Damien Community.
